Sales Tax 


Theshowerdoorstore.com only collects sales tax for those orders shipped to the State of Michigan, where The Shower Door Store maintains a physical location. However, you may be responsible for paying a sales/use tax to your state and/or local taxing authority on orders shipped to you in your state.

Theshowerdoorstore.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards online. We also accept payment by check however, please contact us at (248) 853-4040 for more information regarding this method of payment. 

Credit Card Security Codes 
Theshowerdoorstore.com requires the credit card security code on your card for any telephone or online purchase. The credit card security code is an individual three- or four-digit number specific to your credit card that may be printed on the back of your card on the signature panel if Visa, MasterCard or Discover, and on the front if American Express. Asking for and confirming your credit card's security code helps validate that you - and only you - are in the possession of your credit card and protects you from unauthorized use of your account. 

Price Match Guarantee

 
Theshowerdoorstore.com will price match any Authorized Basco Distributor's price on all Basco shower Enclosures and RODA Luxury Frameless Shower Enclosures. If you find a lower price please inform us before you make your purchase and we will match that price. To take advantage of our Price Match Guarantee you must provide us with the dealer name and contact information, an official estimate, quote, or screen shot on the distributor’s letterhead of the item which includes the total price (including shipping, handling, and sales tax if applicable). We will verify the price and if the product is found to be identical (Brand, Model, Configuration, Options, features) and from an Authorized Basco Distributor, we will match that price. 

Price Match Guarantee Exclusions 


Theshowerdoorstore.com will not price match competitor’s products that are limited in quantity, clearance or closeout prices, used, damaged, display, returned, or open box products. Theshowerdoorstore.com will not price match products that are offered for sale by non- Authorized Basco Distributors. 

How Long Does It Take To Ship?

 
Standard and all in-stock merchandise orders will generally ship within 24-36 hours Custom units including all painted shower doors will ship in approximately 5 working days.

Theshowerdoorstore.com offers ground shipping to Canada. Shipping prices to Canada vary between Eastern Canadian provinces and Western Canadian provinces. The following is a breakdown of shipping charges per each region:

Free Shipping Offers & Promotions


Occasionally, theshowerdoorstore.com offers free shipping offers/promotions. These offers can be identified by banners, ads, or other forms of text located in the top right corners of the website or on specific models. During these offers/promotions, theshowerdoorstore.com offers free ground shipping to most U.S. states. Free shipping does not apply to orders outside of the continental United States or to Canada. The following states may be excluded from the free shipping offers however, please contact us regarding any questions concerning free shipping offers & promotions for the following states:

Delivery Inspection 

 

We make every effort to ensure that your order is packaged and processed correctly to ensure that it arrives to you in good condition. It is very important that you inspect these deliveries thoroughly upon receipt when signing for them. Inspect the box for any external (visible) damage and if there appears to be any damage, indicate such on the delivery receipt. Please accept and sign for packages even in the event of minor visible, external damage. If you discover external (visible) and/or internal (non-visible) damage after the delivery has been accepted, we will work with you to resolve the claim with the carrier and provide you with replacement parts if necessary. If you discover any damage please contact our customer service department immediately at: 248-853-4040. 

 

Only if the package has experienced catastrophic damage (IE. glass breakage) should you refuse delivery. In the event of catastrophic damage please contact us immediately at: 248-853-4040.
 

Refunds/Returns


Returns must be made within 30 days of receiving your purchase. Custom orders are returnable under the Custom Order Return policy (see Custom Order Returns). Custom orders are defined as meeting one or more of the following conditions: 

 

1.    Any finish other than Silver

 

2.    Any glass other than Obscure or Clear 

 

3.    Custom height and/ or widths which are built to your submitted specifications. 

 

4.    Any order with non-standard options added. (Ex. Optional towel bars, handles, coatings, etc.) 

 

5.    Models: 1400-1700, 1422-1722, Door and panels, Neo-Angle, Steam doors, Bi-Fold. 

 

6.    All RODA Luxury Shower Enclosures. 

       LOGIK Shower Doors and all RODA Luxury shower Enclosures are not returnable.


Refunds for returned standard and in-stock merchandise are processed after inspection. If the merchandise is returned undamaged in its original condition, a refund will be sent within 30 days of receipt of the returned merchandise. Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card account number only. There will be a 50% restocking charge on all standard returns except those which are returned as a defective product (see Defective_Products). Custom orders are returnable under the Custom Order Return policy (See Custom Order Returns). Returns and/or refunds will not be given for any merchandise which has been determined to have been damaged after customer acceptance, installed or used in any way, or is returned back to us without the products original packaging. 

Please note that you are responsible for all shipping costs (original & return shipping) unless the return is a result of our error. Refunds will not be given on any uninsured, returned merchandise which has been lost or damaged in transit.

Custom Order Returns 


Refunds for returned custom orders are processed after inspection. If the merchandise is returned undamaged in its original condition, a refund will be issued in the form of a store credit within 30 days of receipt of the returned merchandise. Refunds will be in the form of a store credit only on all custom orders. There will be a 50% restocking charge on all custom order returns except those that are returned as a defective product (see Defective Products). Returns and/or refunds will not be given for any merchandise, which has been determined to have been damaged after customer acceptance, installed or used in any way, or is returned back to us without the products original packaging.

Wrong Products Shipped/Received


If you are shipped a different product than you ordered, please contact us via email or 248-853-4040 within 48 hours of receiving the product. We will provide an RGA number and instructions on how and where to ship the product back. If delivery of the incorrect product was our error, we will pay for the return freight and ship the correct product to you. You will be charged for the replacement order and credited in full for the original incorrect order upon receipt and inspection of the original product. You may also choose to wait until we receive the incorrect item and 
issue credit before placing the replacement order. 

 

Wrong Products Ordered/Received


If you ordered a standard and in-stock product incorrectly and would like to order the correct product, please contact us via email or 248-853-4040 within 48 hours of receiving the product. We will provide an RGA number and instructions on how and where to ship the product back. You will be responsible to pay for the original freight costs and return freight back to Theshowerdoorstore.com. Once the product has been returned, Theshowerdoorstore.com will ship the correct product to you at your expense. Please remember that standard orders will follow the standard return policy (50% restocking charge & all shipping costs, original & return are the customer’s responsibility). Please remember that all custom orders are returnable only under the Custom Order Return Policy (See Custom Order Returns). 

 

Ship and Insure Your Return 


Once you have contacted theshowerdoorstore.com and have been issued an RGA number, you must return your product to the following address with the issued RGA number clearly visible on the package:

In the event you need to return your purchase we STRONGLY recommend that you FULLY insure the package you are returning. THIS IS FOR YOUR PROTECTION, in the event the package is lost or damaged in transit. We suggest that you use a “traceable carrier” that can provide you with “proof of delivery.” Theshowerdoorstore.com shall not be responsible for items returned that are lost or damaged in transit. Postage and handling charges, both to and from our warehouse will be paid by you, the customer, and is non-refundable. 

All returns are inspected at our warehouse upon receipt; if the item is determined to have been damaged after customer acceptance, installed or used in any way, or returned without the original packaging, credit will not be given and the product may be returned to you at your request and cost. 

 

Defective Products


If the product you receive has manufacturing defects, contact us via email or call 248-853-4040 within 48 hours of receiving the product and theshowerdoorstore.com will replace the item and pay for the return freight. We will issue an RGA and give you instructions to ship back the products. 

Standard products returned as defective which are found NOT to be defective are subject to a 50% restocking charge, and the cost of the freight shall be the responsibility of the customer. Custom orders returned as defective which are found not to be defective are subject to a 50% restocking charge, the cost of the freight (original & return shipping) shall be the responsibility of the customer, and the credit balance will be issued only in the form of a store credit (see Custom Order Returns).

If an item is found to be defective after 48 hours of receiving it, or if an item has been installed, this becomes a warranty issue. Theshowerdoorstore.com warrants all our products. Please see our Warrantysection. 

 

Shortages


Shortages must be reported within 48-hours of receipt.

 

Warranty


All products sold on theshowerdoorstore.com come with full manufacturer’s warranties. Registering your product with Basco is required in order to take advantage of the manufacturer’s warranty (see Warranty Registration). 

 

 

Basco Limited Lifetime Warranty

 

Basco Manufacturing Company, an Ohio Corporation (“Basco”), warrants to the original user that the fabricated shower enclosure system (the "product") sold by Basco shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for the (Life of the Product) from the date of the original sale of the product by Basco (the “limited warranty period”), subject to the following conditions. 

This limited warranty applies only to materials and workmanship supplied by Basco. This limited warranty does not cover glass provided by others or outside fabrication provided by others. It excludes all wear items, and does not include the Aqua Glide Glass Coating. This limited warranty does not cover defects in material or workmanship caused by improper installation of 
the product; use of improper cleaning products or materials; or caused by accidents, owner or installer negligence, alterations, abuse or misuse. (For proper cleaning products click here.) This limited warranty is limited to the repair and replacement of the defective product originally sold by Basco, or, at Basco's sole discretion, the payment to the original user of the original purchase 
price for the product paid to Basco. Basco is not responsible for the removal or reinstallation of a product requiring warranty service or the cost thereof. Shipping cost to replace product or parts covered by this warranty are the responsibility of the original user. This warranty is extended to residential applications only. The warranty for commercial installations is limited to one year. 

In order to make a warranty claim, the original user shall notify the Basco Customer Service Representative at 513-573-1900, or the original user may send written notice to Basco at 7201 Snider Road, Mason, Ohio 45040, Attention: Customer Service Department. The notification shall specify the date the product was originally sold by Basco, the registration code, and the 
nature of the defect in material and/or workmanship. Based on such notification, Basco may request additional information from the original user to verify the warranty claim. 

This limited warranty shall be the exclusive remedy against Basco relating to the products. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES ON THE PART OF BASCO. Basco neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to expand this limited warranty or to assume for Basco any other liability in connection with the products sold by Basco. IN NO EVENT SHALL BASCO BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, DIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS OR DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY. 

Laws and regulations governing the installation, design and use of bath enclosures in building applications vary widely. Basco does not have any control over the selection of product configuration, actual installation, operating hardware or glazing material, and Basco assumes no responsibility thereof. Basco dealers agree to furnish a copy of this limited warranty to all customers who purchase the product from the dealer. The obligation of Basco to provide coverage under this limited warranty is expressly subject to the condition that the original user activates the warranty within 30 days of purchase by registering on-line or calling 1-800-45- 
BASCO Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. 

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion of incidental damages may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
